Istituto Marangoni Marangoni (Shanghai) Celebrates Its 5th Anniversary

In the autumn and winter of 2019 Shanghai Fashion Week, the Italian Istituto Marangoni Marangoni (Shanghai) Academy celebrated its 5th anniversary with the outstanding alumni design achievements. Istituto Marangoni was founded in Milan in 1935 by the Italian aristocrat's master tailor Giulio Marangoni, who is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the provision of higher education in fashion, design and the arts. One. For more than 80 years, Marangoni has witnessed the flourishing development of Italian fashion and the birth of the ready-to-wear market, and continued the development of the Academy and the training of young talents, with their impressive achievements in their subsequent development. With the international expansion of Italian fashion, Istituto Marangoni is expanding its global network simultaneously in Florence, Paris, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Miami while remaining faithful and adhering to its unique positioning and educational approach in academic education. New cities are being opened in major cities, and the entrepreneurial dynamism and academic culture are continuously integrated. Each year, more than 4,000 students from more than 100 countries are received in a steady growth.


The Marangoni College Group currently has two training centers in China: the Shanghai Campus and the Shenzhen Campus, which opened in 2016. So far, more than 1,000 have graduated from the Marangoni Shanghai Training Center. For many years, Marangoni has maintained a very good relationship with China, and many talented Chinese students have also studied at the European campus. Some Chinese alumni have created outstanding achievements, such as Zhou Jun, who graduated from Marangoni in 2013, and continued his studies at the London Fashion Institute after graduation. In 2016, Li Yushan founded the clothing brand Pronounce in Milan and set up a branch office in Shanghai. In the second year, Pronounce won the "Latest Fashion Buzz" award. In 2018, Zhou Jun was included in Forbes' "under 30 years old elite list." Other outstanding Chinese alumni, including European Agile, graduated from the Marangoni Milan Fashion Institute in 2009 and returned to China to create the "Ricostru" brand.
